Construction Cleaning Services

Cleaners will provide construction cleaning services based on the stage of construction determined by the Client. However, Cleaners will design a cleaning plan tailored to meet the specific desires of the Client to achieve the desired outcome.

To ensure a clear understanding of the cleaning scope, Client agrees to provide a detailed description of the current construction stage. (e.g., rough cleaning after framing is complete, pre-occupancy cleaning after final touches)

  • Windows.
  • Bedrooms
  • Kitchens.
  • Bathrooms.
  • Living rooms

  • Entrance area.
  • Stairway.
  • Restore Tiles 
  • Restore wooden floors
  • Basements
  • Garden Apartments

The scope will be outlined in services performed (attached as Exhibit A). Client acknowledges that Cleaners will only perform the services listed in Exhibit A and no additional tasks beyond those outlined will be expected or performed.

 

Cleaning Completion and Responsibility

When the cleaning is done, Cleaners are not responsible for areas that are damaged after cleaners have cleaned. If areas are damaged after cleaning, it will be the client’s responsibility.

Limited Scope of Agreement

This contract is only for the conditions the cleaners saw after the walkthrough and for the specific construction stage identified by the Client. This contract does not include any other cleaning needed after areas are cleaned or for different construction stages. There will be a new contract needed if any other cleaning is needed after this agreement is fulfilled.

Deposit

A deposit of 50% is required to confirm the booking and secure the appointment date. This deposit signifies Client’s acceptance of all the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. The deposit will be deducted from the total cleaning cost.

Client Acceptance

By submitting a deposit, the Client acknowledges that they have read and understood all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Client Responsibility: Water and Electricity

Client acknowledges that water and electricity are essential utilities required for Cleaners to perform the cleaning services. Client is solely responsible for ensuring that both water and electricity are functioning and available at the Premises during the scheduled cleaning time.

In the event that Cleaners arrive at the Premises to perform the cleaning services and either water or electricity, or both, are not functioning, the cleaning job will be canceled.

Client agrees to pay a cancellation fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total cleaning cost to cover Cleaners’ expenses if the cleaning job is canceled due to non-functioning water and/or electricity at the Premises.

  • This cancellation fee will be charged separately using the same credit card information provided by the Client.
  • The charges will be automated.
  • Cleaners will not require additional authorization from the Client to charge the cancellation fee.

Payment Terms

  • Half of the total cleaning cost is due upon booking to confirm the reservation.
  • The remaining half will be charged after the job starts.

Client agrees to provide Cleaners with a valid credit card with sufficient funds to cover the entire invoice amount. Cleaners will process payments securely through Square, a reputable payment processing platform.

Client authorizes Cleaners to store their credit card information on file through Square for [duration, e.g., until project completion or one year] to streamline future payments. This authorization can be revoked at any time by Client in writing.

Invoices will be sent electronically through Square after each payment is processed. Clients will receive a receipt via email after each successful payment.

Applicable taxes, and credit card processing fees (if applicable) will be added to the invoice. The validity period for quotes is 30 days. Cleaners will discard credit card records 30 days after the job is completed.

Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

Cleaners shall provide all necessary cleaning detergents and equipment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties. Cleaners shall not be held liable for any damage to Client’s property while using Client’s cleaning products or equipment.

Footage

Cleaners shall have the right to take before-and-after pictures and/or video footage of their work for the purpose of quality assurance, marketing, promotion, and record-keeping.

Services Not Provided

The following services are not included in this Agreement and will only be performed if agreed upon in writing by both parties:

  • Washing dishes
  • Emptying dishwashers
  • Cleaning cat boxes 
  • laundry services
  • Removing bodily waste
  • clutter.
  • blood.

Liability

Cleaners shall not be liable for any missing or damaged valuables. Client is solely responsible for the safekeeping of their valuables.

Safety and Security

Cleaners shall keep doors locked while cleaning and shall not answer doors or phones unless instructed in advance by the Client. The Client agrees to provide Cleaners with safe entry into the facility. If there is no secure entry, services shall be canceled, and rescheduling may not be an option.

Guarantee

Cleaners provide a 24-hour guarantee of their services. If Client is not satisfied with the cleaning within 24 hours of completion, please notify Cleaners in writing. Cleaners will return to the Premises at their earliest convenience to address any concerns.

Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by either party with written notice (text, email, or physical mail) provided at least 48 hours before the scheduled cleaning date(s). If Client terminates this Agreement within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning date(s), Client shall be responsible for a cancellation fee of 50% of total. Any outstanding balance on the invoice is due and payable immediately upon termination of this Agreement.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and negotiations, whether oral or written.

Binding Effect

This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and assigns.

Waiver

The failure of either party to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or of the right to enforce such provision.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired.

Payment Authorization (Optional):

In order to streamline the payment process and ensure timely payment for services rendered, Client authorizes Cleaners to store a payment card on file for [duration, e.g., until project completion or one year].

Notices

All notices and other communications hereunder shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly given when delivered personally, sent by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, postage prepaid, or sent by overnight courier service to the addresses of the parties first set forth above or to such other addresses as the parties may from time to time designate in writing.

Headings

The headings contained in this Agreement are for reference only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of any of its provisions.

Counterparts

This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.

Access to Premises: The Client grants access to our cleaning service providers on the agreed-upon date(s) and time(s) to perform the designated services. The Client is responsible for facilitating access, including providing necessary keys or entry to restricted areas.

Scope of Services: Our cleaning services encompass the designated tasks relevant to the specific service being provided. These tasks are outlined in the agreement, and no additional tasks beyond the agreement’s scope will be assumed or undertaken.

Footage and Documentation: For quality assurance and record-keeping purposes, we reserve the right to capture before and after footage of the premises. Any such footage remains the exclusive property of Eco Cleaning Experts LLC.

Insurance: We maintain appropriate insurance coverage to safeguard against potential liabilities related to our services. Clients have the option to request a certificate of insurance or be added as an additionally insured party when we are providing cleaning services. This ensures an added layer of protection and peace of mind for our clients.

Privacy: We value the privacy of our clients and are committed to protecting their personal and sensitive information. Any data collected during the course of our services will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy. Clients can rest assured that their information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without their explicit consent, except as required by law.

Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement doesn’t waive the right to enforce that provision at a later time.

Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
